I am just a girl in the world.  

A work in progress, trying to take it all in and stay kind.

My name is Nicki and I am a photographer based in West Haven, Utah. Being outdoors with my camera is when I  feel most at ease.  I am passionate about photography and nature. I enjoy many different views from behind the lens and I feel grateful for the opportunities I have had.​  It is a journey of practice and patience that I keep coming back to.  

 

Sharing my love of photography has introduced me to so many fantastic people and places.  It centers me and reminds of our interconnectedness, not only with each other, but with nature - big, badass, Mother Earth. She can be a tyrant, but when you get out in that morning light and just 'be', well, there's nothing quite like it.  
 

My hope is that by sharing my photography with you, it helps you rediscover how simple it can be to bring mental and emotional rejuvenation into your everyday.  The more time I spend in nature, the bigger my commitment grows to supporting the conservation of the lands and waters on which all life depends. So, I also hope my work inspires you to support a world where everyone thrives alongside nature for generations to come, protecting and preserving.​  

 

  There is also this thing I have with words - poetry, lyrics, quotes. You'll see them everywhere I have been. I plan on capturing and sharing adventures with a blog added to this site in the future.  TBA!
